Isabella Liu is a leading jewellery designer and artist. She was born in Wuhan, China, and currently based in London. Isabella commenced the BA in Jewellery Design and Related Products at Birmingham City University's School of Jewellery, and MA in Arts and Cultural Management at King's College London.
In March 2015, she was honoured three gold and two silver awards at the Goldsmiths' Craft manship & Design Awards 2015, which is regarded as the 'Jewellery Oscar'. She also won two gold awards at the 2015 Milan World Expo China-Italy International Jewellery Design Competition, for the Best Product and the Best New Designer. She is the winner of Editors’ Choice Award IJL for Creative Originality in 2017.
In 2014, Isabella founded her design studio in London. 2016 she stablishes jewellery consultancy business with Chairman of British Silver Festival Gordon Hamme. As ‘The Jeweller’ Magazine from National Association of Jewellers reported, ‘Isabella Liu – bringing China and Britain together’.
Selected by ‘WOMEN OF CHINA’ magazine, Isabella honoured as one of ten ‘Impressing the world, Chinese Women Yield Brilliant Results in 2015’. Isabella is honoured as Exceptional Talent in Craftsmanship and Design by Arts Council England in 2015, which encourages her to contribute to jewellery and crafts industry from business, academic and cultural level.
